Service
This brings us to the seventh principle of spiritual fellowship, which is service. This is another of those areas that cannot function unless we have tasted of the Cross. We must know who we are in God if we are going to be able to serve one another. Love serves, and out of this service comes a fellowship. We serve those who are unlovely, those who are not worthy in our own eyes, for God says that He is not a respecter of persons. Love, as it continues to serve, gives our brothers and sisters in the Lord the ability that they lack, for we are then channels through which the ability of God flows, enabling them to take a step in God. As another's lack is supplied, our fellowship in Christ will be increased.
